Shandur Polo Festival is one of the big festivals in Pakistan. The event is celebrated between the
teams of Gilgit and Chitral annually. This year Shandur Polo Festival will be held from 1
st July till3rd July. It is a freestyle match with no rules applied during the match. It is also famous because the playground is the world’s highest polo ground located in the heart of the Hindukush
mountain ranges. The festival includes folk music and dancing people from all the cultures of
Pakistan unite on the ground to exhibit their cultures.
